New forum to tackle invasive plants

GEORGE NEWS – The Southern Cape is infested with invasive black wattle, black wood, pine and eucalyptus, which are fire hazards and threaten biodiversity and sound land management.

 A group of like-minded organisations, local authorities and landowners have banded together to launch a forum to tackle these invaders.
